Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Shipman graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. With more than 10 years of veterinary experience in the Tulsa area, Dr Shipman is dedicated to providing quality veterinary care to her hometown of Sand Springs and the surrounding communities. Dr. Shipman is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband have 3 children: Conner, Caitlin and Brennan. Their family has several animals including 1 dog, Gnomeo; 4 cats, Mosi, Max, Lilo, Mabel, and 4 horses, Creek, Gretal, General and Storm. In her free time, Dr. Shipman enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her family.
SARAH MOREAU, DVM
Dr. Moreau joined McKinney Animal Hospital in June 2016. She received a Bachelor of Science from University of Oklahoma. She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri (Mizzou). Dr. Moreau is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, reading and spending time with her family: her husband, Clint, and their Brittany Spaniel, Flynn.
KACI METCALF, DVM
Dr. Metcalf graduated from the University of Kansas in 2007 and Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She practiced in Boone, Iowa for 4 years following graduation and then recently moved back to the Tulsa area in 2016 when she joined the McKinney Animal Hospital team. Dr. Metcalf is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband live in Glenpool and have 2 young boys. Their family also includes their two dogs and cat. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
DUSTIN BOOMER, DVM
Dr. Boomer received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Boomer spends his time working at McKinney Animal Hospital and South County Animal Clinic. His areas of interest include general wellness with a specific interest in ophthalmologic health.
Outside of work, Dr. Boomer spends time with his family, which includes: wife (Alisa a primary care veterinarian), kids (Caden, Landen, and Ashlen – on the way), 4 dogs, and 3 cats. In addition, he enjoys going camping/hiking and helping manage his father’s cattle farm.
