Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr Kayla Shipman graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. With more than 10 years of veterinary experience in the Tulsa area, Dr Shipman is dedicated to providing quality veterinary care to her hometown of Sand Springs and the surrounding communities. Dr. Shipman is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband have 3 children: Conner, Caitlin and Brennan. Their family has several animals including 1 dog, Gnomeo; 4 cats, Mosi, Max, Lilo, Mabel, and 4 horses, Creek, Gretal, General and Storm. In her free time, Dr. Shipman enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her family.
DR. ROBERT KENDRICK – DVM
Dr. Kendrick is a 2003 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kendrick joined McKinney Animal Hospital in June of 2006. Prior to that he practiced mixed animal medicine in McAlester, Oklahoma. Dr. Kendrick is originally from Indianola, Oklahoma and gets back to his family’s small farm as often as possible. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, reading and spending time with his lovely wife Marsha and daughter Maggie. His furry kids include Maxine the rescue Shih Tzu and the two Yorkshire Terriers, Andi and Rudi.
DR. FAULKNER – DVM
Dr. Faulker is a 2014 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Faulkner is originally from McLoud, Oklahoma where she was actively involved in varsity soccer. Her undergraduate degree was also completed at Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelors of Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine Minor. During Veterinary School, Dr. Faulkner was active in Student Government and had multiple leadership roles in student organizations. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her furry kids Wendi (Great Pyrenees Mix), Kricket and Junebug (Cats).
